Living Proof Church’s annual Thanksgiving outreach marked a milestone this year as volunteers completed their thirteenth year of providing holiday meals to families in need. Food for Families

The annual Food For Families Drive received 34,544 pounds of non-perishable donations at Church on the Rock on Friday, Nov. 21, and donations are still rolling in. This total was slightly shy of the 37,000-pound goal, but with contributions still coming in at the time of tallying, the goal may yet be met.

The Mexia High School Robotics team placed fourth overall out of 25 teams and captured first place in the 3A/4A division, securing their return to the state championship.
