Deferred Adjudication Ordered for Constable Accused of Sending Sexual Images
A local business owner and Freestone County Constable, Kenneth Sessions, pleaded no contest to a charge of unlawful electronic transmission of sexually explicit visual material in June 2025. According to court records, Judge Ray Jones ordered him to be placed on deferred adjudication for 15 days and ordered to pay a $381 fine. If he meets the conditions of the agreement, the case will be dismissed without a conviction on his record. The deferral period is set to end Thursday, April 2.

Between Mexia and Groesbeck High Schools, five teams came together to compete in the second annual Ag Mech Build Off during the Limestone County Fair. They worked within an eight and a half hour time frame to construct a single axle trailer minus the decking. Build offs emphasize teamwork, technical skill, safety, and project design, providing valuable experience in practical use of skills learned in classes with less hands-on assistance from instructors.
