First Methodist and Thornton Methodist churches invite everyone to welcome Pastor John and Mandy Zamudio on Sunday, May 17. This festive “come and go” event runs from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Methodist Activity Center (MAC) Building, 212 W. Navasota, Groesbeck. The Groesbeck Volunteer Fire Department held a “Fill the Helmet” fundraiser on Saturday, May 2. Approximately $3,400 was raised to purchase Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the firefighters.
