Is God at work in our community? Consider carefully then answer. Why? Or why not? I wonder how many among us sense a hunger or need for a fresh encounter with God? Keep in mind that no one seeks an encounter with God unless God is at work causing that person to seek after Him. Notice what the Bible says, “There is not one who understands, no one who seeks God.” (Romans 3:11) Jesus said, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him.” (John 6:44) The apostle Paul said, “It is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.” (Phil. 2:13)
