There is more than one successful team with Groesbeck across their chest banging volleyballs over the net inside the high school gymnasium.
The Goat Varsity Football team will host Teague this Friday at 7:30 pm in District play. The Goats are now 5-2 on the season and 2-1 in District play after losing to Fairfield last Friday.
The Groesbeck volleyball team split a pair of matches last week and entered this week in second place in District 20-3A with a 9-2 record.

A king wasn’t crowned during the homecoming festivities but a sash and crown need to be bestowed upon the Groesbeck (51, 2-0), offensive line as they paved the way for the Groesbeck running game in their 34-0 district win over Kemp (1-6, 0-3), on Friday, Oct. 7.
