The Lady Goats fell to the Franklin Lady Lions twice this past week 57-44 and 55-40. Groesbeck moves to 6-9 on the season and 3-5 in district play.
After trailing 23-12 at halftime against the Teague Lions last Tuesday night, the Groesbeck Goats came out fighting and fought back to take a big district win at home over the Lions, 60-45. The win gives Groesbeck a 6-7 overall record and makes their record 3-4 in district play.
The past week Groesbeck traveled to Westwood and lost a close battle to the Panthers 56-50 and also lost to Fairfield 73-45. The Goats move to 5-7 overall and 2-4 in district play.
The Lady Goats defeated the Westwood Lady Panthers and fell to the Fairfield Lady Eagles this past week. Groesbeck moves to 6-7 on the season and has a district record of 3-3.
Four Groesbeck High School basketball seniors were honored on Friday night prior to the Goats hosting the Buffalo Bison.
