The Groesbeck football team was beaten by Malakoff, 48-0, at Goat Stadium on Thursday night.

The Goat Varsity Football Team finished with a 6-4 season record and a 3-3 District record last week. The Goats ended in a three-way tie for third place with two other schools but lost out in a points tiebreaker.

Football The Varsity Goat Football team ran their season record to 6-3 and their District record to 3-2 with a 36-18 victory at Eustace last Friday. The Goats will finish the regular season vs. State-ranked Malakoff here tonight which will be Senior Night 7:30 p.m.
Groesbeck FFA Leadership Development teams make strides at recent competition

Groesbeck FFA Leadership Development Event teams competed last Saturday, Oct. 22 at AggiefestCollege Station. The results from that competition are below: 3rd Place Greenhand Skills Dooley Brooks, Barrett Brown, Kale Watton, 2nd Place Greenhand Quiz Cannon Campbell, Madison Binion, Kaidance Hutchison, Kealey Trojacek 3rd Place Senior Skills Jack Carroll, Braxton Hill, Cade Carroll, Jaxon Jones, Carson Little 2nd Place Spanish Creed Speaking Constanza Alvarado Last Monday, Oct. 24 the Leadership Development Event teams also competed at the Bosqueville Invitational. Here are the results: 1st Place Greenhand Quiz Cannon Campbell, Madison Binion, Kaidance Hutchison, Kealey Trojacek 2nd Place Senior Creed Speaking Mattelyn Hall 1st Place Senior Chapter Conducting Ryder Bagley, Dallie Bagley, Rayna Kurtz, Hunter Garner, Wesley Bush, Brianna Latray, Carly Scott, Keeley Brooks, Hunter Vincent, Danielle Rogers All these teams will compete at the District Leadership Development Event Contests on November 7.
