The City of Groesbeck announced last week that the city pool would be opening to the public beginning Wednesday, May 31, and will continue to be open during the season through Wednesday, August, 2.

In coverage of the Kosse City Council meeting on Tuesday, May 16, I reported that former employee Jake Smith left the city “high and dry” after receiving a water license paid for by the city. That phrase was not an accurate depiction of what transpired and was my own wording, not used by Public Works Director Charles Dickerson or any of the council members. Outside of that phrase, my reporting on the matter was accurate and factual and I stand behind it.
