As the Thanksgiving Season approaches, some thoughts from God’s word concerning Thanksgiving seem in order. We need to keep God’s Word in mind because life, health, and happiness are gifts from God. We also need to keep Thanksgiving in mind because we forget so easily. I read of a family who went shopping in early November. The son looked at all the Christmas decorations and said, “What happened to Thanksgiving?” I wonder have we lost the capacity to be thankful.

We had a nice crowd at the Center on Thursday even tho several people who were on the list to be there didn’t let Janice know they would not be there. This is just as important to let her know as if you are going to be there, lots of food gets wasted this way. Be attentive and report changes to her in advance at 254/203-2769.

Food pantry at Navarro College available for students in need
Students who attend Navarro College classes and may need food for the Thanksgiving holiday are invited to go to the main campus office to request help.
