Holiday Triggers? Texans Recovering Together Can Help

November is usually associated with a significant holiday, Thanksgiving. According to SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration), anniversaries and holidays can become “trigger events” and cause substantial, even crippling, anxiety and depression. #TexansRecovering Together is doing its part to provide a level of certainty during uncertain times by offering accessible mental health and emotional support for McLennan, Bosque, Falls, Hill, Freestone, and Limestone counties.

Region 8 – Lower Brazos Regional Water Planning Group soliciting nominations

The Lower Brazos Regional Flood Planning Group (LBRFPG) is soliciting nominations to fill one (1) voting member vacancy representing the Interest of Small Business. 31 TAC Chapter 361.11(e)(7) definition of Small businesses, defined as corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships, or other legal entities that are formed for the purpose of making a profit, are independently owned and operated, and have either fewer than 500 employees and or less than $10 million in gross annual receipts. Region 8 LBRFPG covers all or part of 41 counties, which include Archer, Austin, Bastrop, Bell, Bosque, Brazoria, Brazos, Brown, Burleson, Burnet, Callahan, Comanche, Coryell, Eastland, Erath, Falls, Fort Bend, Freestone, Grimes, Hamilton, Hill, Hood, Jack, Johnson, Lampasas, Lee, Leon, Limestone, Madison, McLennan, Milam, Mills, Palo Pino, Parker, Robertson, Somervell, Stephens, Waller, Washington, Williamson, and Young County. Kosse Holiday Happenings

The City of Kosse wishes everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday! Please note that the city offices will be closed on Thanksgiving, Nov. 25th, through Sunday, Nov. 28th. Trash pickup this week will be on Friday, Nov. 26th. The Central Texas Food Bank distribution will be on Friday, December 3rd at the Kosse Community Center.
