Kosse City Wide Garage Sales,Saturday

Kosse will be hosting its annual Citywide Garage Sale on October 1. They are asking all interested people who will be participating to call or email the city office with your names, and address. They will compile a master list to be picked up at the City office the Friday prior. They are asking that all names and addresses be submitted by September 29th. It also will be listed on social media.

Annual Kosse Methodist Bazaar this Saturday

The Kosse Methodist Church will hold its 42nd Annual Bazaar this Saturday, October 1st. There will be white elephant items, beautiful crafts, homemade goodies at the country store, delicious baked goods and games, and prizes for the children as well. BBQ plates of ribs, sausage, and all the trimmings will be available to enjoy at the bazaar, or takeout will be available. Great prizes are on the raffle so be sure to get your tickets early or on bazaar day. You do not have to be present to win. If you sign up for the door prizes, your name might be drawn while you are shopping or visiting with friends and neighbors. You do have to be present to win a door prize. Many items will be available on the silent auction and the live auction will start at 1 and always has interesting and unusual items to bid on. We have a great time at the Kosse Methodist Bazaar – come out and join the fun. We hope to see you there.

Fall is in the air these days even though some days seem to feel like summer. We could certainly use some good rain but we still have the urge to meet on Thursdays and enjoy being in the company of friends as we eat lunch and then play bingo. Those gathered together Thursday for hamburgers: Janice Bilbrey, Lorene Stembridge, Wilma Lee, Gayla Lind, Earl Mask, Alma Stewart, Elizabeth Neason, Snuffy Bennett, James Lenamond, Doris Lemley, Gay Ann McBride, Sammy Cooper, Jo Ann Archer, Wayne Sharp, Sharon and Roger Watson, Fonetta Simmons and Myself.
