Six members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4694 in Mexia voted Monday, Sept. 13, to close the building located at 317 TX-14.

In a quick meeting on Tuesday, September 20, the Groesbeck City Council adopted both the city budget and tax rate for the fiscal year 2022-2023. Groesbeck Mayor Matthew Dawley was proud to point out the city’s history of keeping the tax rate steady through trying times in the past near-decade.
