RAINFALL TOTALS

The total precipitation including the snowmelt water equivalent for January 2021 in Groesbeck was 4.5 inches. The total precipitation for February was 1.25 inches. Most of that was in the form of melted freezing rain, sleet, and snow; making the total for the year so far is 5.75 inches.

Egged

Groesbeck Police Department is currently working on the case of overnight egging in Groesbeck. Two reports of vehicles being “egged” during overnight hours were received on the morning of Sat. March 13.

KOSSE/THORNTON COMMUNITY CALENDAR

çMONDAY NIGHTS - 7:00 p.m. - Lady Fitness Class at the Kosse Community Center. Cost $5 per session. Those who wish to participate simply need to show up on time with an exercise mat and water or other desired sports drinks. For the session, ladies follow along with a virtual workout played on a projector in order to tone up and achieve/ maintain good health. All ladies are welcome!

Limestone ESD#2 to hold town hall meetings

Limestone County Emergency Services District #2, representing the west and north sides of Lake Limestone will be holding two Town Hall meetings in the main fire station at 6614 FM 937 on March 6th and April 10th at 2.00 pm. These meetings will be held in the 3-bay large area and covid-19 guidelines will be followed. For those unable to attend the Town Hall meetings, these will be broadcast live on Facebook.
