Kleen-Air Open House Shows Off New Space

Kleen-Air welcomed Groesbeck locals and other guests to tour their new offices and production/ warehouse space through a casual Open House event on Sunday, June 5. The company, which has been manufacturing and installing air filters across the state from their homebase of Groesbeck since 1996, moved into the larger space in November of last year. It has taken some time to get completely settled in the 64,500 sq. ft. space, from filling the administrative offices at the front of the building, to creating a “flow” for production and establishing the best organization of products in the warehouse, but Kleen- Air has maintained their full work-load all the while.

Adult Education And Literacy- Here And Now

We have gone to the moon and back. We are planning on going to Mars in the near future. We have electric cars and ones that drive themselves. Yet, according to a reputable Texas newspaper twenty seven percent of adults read below the third-grade level. This level of literacy or lack thereof translates into this lamentable fact: the U.S. Census Bureau states that Texas ranks 47 out of 50 states with respect to population literacy. How and why could that be? To add insult to injury, only 27% percent of the Job opportunities in the United States workforce are available to those without a high school diploma according to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics and of that group the median income is $600 per week while those with a High School diploma earn approximately $750 per week.
