This past weekend marked the ninth year that Living Proof Church was able to serve the community and give deserving families a full Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings.

Pictured are the Groesbeck Senior Center domino players that were present on Nov. 19 (l-r) Annita Childress, Norma Tate, Pat Bellar, and Orma Williams. Dominos are played at the Groesbeck Senior Center on Wednesday and Friday afternoons beginning around 1 p.m. All are welcome to join. Groesbeck Senior Center is located at 510 W. State St. in Groesbeck. They are open Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Lunch is served at noon. Contact Glenda O’Neal at 254-729-5123 for more information. You can also visit their Facebook page (Senior Citizens Center) for menus and activities calendar. You are always welcome to join any of our centers for fellowship, lunch, and fun. Please let us know at least the day before by 2 P.M. if you plan on eating with us so our cooks can prepare enough food.

Groesbeck Lions Club sponsored the 2021 Peace Poster Competition for the Enge-Washington art students and the winners have been chosen. The theme for the year was “We Are All Connected”.
