Veterans Day
This holiday is observed each year in America to honor all Veterans living and dead who served in the U.S armed force in wartime. Veterans Day was originally proclaimed Armistice Day by President Woodrow Wilson on the first anniversary to commemorate the end of World War I. The armistice or end of hostilities was signed at 11 a.m. on November 11, 1918. Armistice Day was changed to Veterans Day in 1954. General John J. Pershing ordered the first American attack in World War I on May 28th, 1918 to route the Germans from Cantigny,
