Groesbeck CTE students have been very busy. Most notably, GHS Welding students Preston Shields, Jayden Elliott, and Colton Shields competed in a welding contest this past Saturday. Colton Shields won the entire contest and received $5250 in scholarships.
The Cynthia Ann Garden Club had its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, October 28, at 1 p.m. at the Groesbeck Woman’s Club. President, Becky Smith, welcomed everyone.
The Groesbeck Lions Club was treated to a most interesting program on the Groesbeck High School tennis program.
Congratulations to the Groesbeck High School Band for another successful marching season. Their marching show is entitled ‘Time Machine’ and utilizes various clock sounds to create a show in three movements: Clocks, Hourglass and Sundial, and Digital Clocks.
