With a couple of matches left in the regular season, Bi- Stone volleyball teams are vying for final playoff positions. Here’s a look at last week’s results.
The West Lake Limestone Volunteer Fire Department had quite a catch at its annual fish fry on Saturday, Oct. 18. With lines out the door, the crew ran out of fish before 2 p.m. Their companion event, a community blood drive, also reeled in strong support. The department had a sign posted thanking local businesses and citizens for their donations for the fundraiser including Vernon Davis, Jeff Stanton, Brookshire’s Groesbeck, HEB Mexia, Mary’s Burger Barn, Old Union Eats, and numerous volunteers who made desserts.
