First Baptist Church of Donie Invites Children to True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World

A summer kids’ event called True North will be hosted at First Baptist Church in Donie from August 3 to August 6. At True North, kids discover what it means to trust Jesus in a wild world! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-ofa- kind Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of Jesus’ love, and test out sciency- fun experiments they’ll never forget. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with a Compass Closing that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 7:45 pm.

USDA 5-Step Plan of Attack

1.) Stop the Pest from Spreading in Mexico and Ensure We Are Full Partners in Eradication USDA’s recent $21 million expenditure went toward renovating an existing fruit fly production facility in Metapa, Mexico, which will provide an additional 60-100 million sterile flies a week to stop the spread, on top of the over 100 million already produced in Panama. This will result in at least 160 million flies per week.
