Advanced Floral Design students demonstrated their creativity and skill at the Brownsboro Floral Cup last Thursday, where competitors receive the same set of flowers but design unique arrangements using their own containers.
Several members of the Sons of the Republic of Texas and the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, along with many descendants of the Parker family, gathered June 12 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, at the gravesite of Cynthia Ann Parker to honor her as a former Republic of Texas citizen. The George B. Erath Chapter – Waco SRT, led by Trevor Wardlaw, planned and organized the event. The Sterling C. Robertson DRT Chapter – Waco sponsored the DRT Citizen Medallion.
