Parade Marshall for HOCO: Dale Wilson

Dale Wilson is a native of Groesbeck, having been born in the Red Hill Community. He began his schooling in Box Church before transferring to Groesbeck in the 5th grade after all the community schools in the area were consolidated. He graduated from Groesbeck High School in 1958 and, after spending a few years in Dallas, married his high school sweetheart, Johnnie Wilson. They returned to Groesbeck in 1964.
Groesbeck Finalizes Budget and Tax Rate

Groesbeck Council held a regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 16, and took the following action: Approved the sale of water outside the city limits to Chase Logan & Don Stevens; Approved the Public Works Fee Schedule with no changes from last year; Approved an interlocal agreement with Limestone County for the purchase of oil-sand to redo a road; Approved the EDC Annual Budget for FY 20252026; and Approved the consent agenda.
