Psalm 37:1-7 is God’s prescription for “winning over worry”. These verses call for us to take a long look at life. Therefore, do not allow a moment of difficulty to cloud your entire life. Rather seek a life-view from God which extends into eternity. Then bring the joy of eternity back into your day.
Lots of talking about the experiences of surviving the snow and ice with and without electricity, water, other means of heating in our homes, went on Thursday as thirteen Seniors gathered together for lunch. Lots of lessons were learned and hopefully, those who weren’t very well prepared for such a spell will take heed and get prepared should another occasion arise. One thing for sure, living in Texas, we never know about the weather!
