The HS cross country team ran at the Teague Invitational on Sept 12. The top 15 runners received medals. For the Groesbeck girls team, Alidah Figard placed 7th, and Jasmine Mora placed 14th overall. For the boys’ team Floyd King placed 10th and Nicholas Ramos place 11th.

The Lions traveled to Madisonville on Friday night to take on the Mustangs who compete in Class 4A. Penalties throughout the night cost both teams yardage, but a pile of penalties just proved to be too much for the Lions as they lost 24-7.
