A pair of Groesbeck doubles tennis teams earned First-Team All-District recognition for District 18-4A.
The storms held off around Maypearl last Friday night, however, it would be the storm of the Panthers that closed the book on Groesbeck’s football season.
Friday night’s game between the Groesbeck Goats and the Whitney Wildcats, turned into a battle of touchdowns, as both teams went in looking for their first district win.
As the excitement builds in the community, G-Way Football is proud to announce that both the Living Proof Jr. Team and the Living Proof Flag Team have advanced to the second round of the playoffs.
After leading for nearly three-quarters of Friday night’s district matchup with the West Trojans, the Groesbeck Goats ended up three points down as the horn sounded to end the game, falling to the host team, 31-28.
