Best-selling author, motivational speaker and Fox News commentator Nick Adams will speak in Thornton Tuesday courtesy of the Limestone County Republican Women.
Commissioners came out of a lengthy executive session during their Tuesday, Aug. 25, meeting and took action to begin the process of selling about 25 acres of county land, which includes the Limestone County Detention Center.
Limestone County Judge Richard Duncan was the speaker for the August meeting of the Limestone Conservatives on Tuesday night, August 18, at Austin’s Steakhouse in Kosse. John McCarver called the meeting to order.
AUSTIN - Aug. 21 - Governor Greg Abbott issued a statement after the federal government approved nearly $1.4 billion in initial funds made available through President Trump’s Lost Wage Assistance Executive Order. This funding will provide an additional $300 per week in benefits for qualifying Texans receiving unemployment benefits. The Texas Workforce Commission applied for these funds earlier this week.
