TxDOT will hold a virtual public meeting to present a proposal to the public about a proposal to create a continuousflow, four-lane divided highway that meets interstate highway standards to the extent possible, including improvements that extend Interstate 27 between the New Mexico and Oklahoma borders and Laredo.

Kosse Council members spent a considerable amount of time discussing the best course of action to take regarding the currently obsolete city water tower in their regular meeting on Tues., Aug. 11. Mayor Brooks Valls stated that the bid just to paint the outside of the tower came in at $97,000 dollars.
Hurricane Hanna delivers blow to South Texas
