May sales tax returns for Limestone County’s cities started dipping into the negative, reflecting the destructive effects to the economy of the COVID-19 virus restrictions. Only Coolidge remained in positive territory in Limestone. Even so, the year-to-date totals were still positive for all the municipalities.
During the months of June and July, the Limestone County Historical Museum will be open on Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
