In late 1981 and early 1982, a series of destructive fires ravaged Groesbeck and the surrounding rural areas, leaving behind a trail of loss and unanswered questions.
After about an hour and a half in Executive Session on Tuesday, Dec. 3, the Groesbeck ISD School Board voted to hire Dr. Shirley Richardson as the Interim Superintendent, effective in January 2025.
