The historic town of Thornton is gearing up for its annual Homecoming celebration, scheduled as always for the third weekend of June. Running from June 19– 20, this year’s festivities promise an action-packed weekend of community pride, traditional rodeo thrills and family-friendly entertainment.

His Ways
“They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways” (Ps. 119:3). This “his ways,” is the third title given the Word of God in Psalms 119. We must seek the way of the Lord which is clearly given within His Word. “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord” (Isa. 55:6-8). When we walk in any other way, other than Christ and the Word of God, we will commit iniquity. “Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Jn. 7:13-14).
