Sailor’s Guilty Plea Accepted in Murder of Resendiz, a 2023 MHS Graduate

Seaman Jeremiah Copeland pleaded guilty to five offenses in the death of Petty Officer 3rd Class Angelina Resendiz on Monday, June 8. The offenses include unpremeditated murder; aggravated assault by strangulation; indecent recording; obstruction of justice; and making a false official statement.
