With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maxima Olivo Ramirez, who went to be with the Lord on Jan. 10, 2026, at the age of 87. A longtime resident of Thornton, Texas, Maxima cherished her family, friends, community, and faith above all else. She was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church, where her love for the Lord shined through her life and service.
Mary Alice Reese went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 2, 2026 at the age of 70 years old. She was born in Richmond, Tx on Feb. 27, 1955 to her parents Robert and Cecilia Guajardo. She grew up in Rosenberg. After high school, she went to cosmetology school and became a hairdresser for years. In the mid eighties she moved to Paris, Texas with her two children, Jennifer and Jerry Zepeda.
Wendi Sue Campbell, of Dallas, Texas, passed away in her home on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at the age of 52.
James Dwain “Jim” McCoslin passed away at his home in Hallsville, TX. on Friday, Dec. 26, 2025, at age 82.
Norma Tate of Groesbeck passed on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, in Waco at the age of 98.
