Randall Jacobs announces candidacy for County Commissioner Precinct 2

My name is Randall Jacobs, and I am proud to announce my Republican candidacy for Commissioner of Precinct 2 for Limestone County. I am a 1982 graduate of Coolidge High School and a lifelong resident of Coolidge, Texas. I am married to Christi and together we have five children and four grandchildren. The importance of family values run deep. For all my life, I have been invested in various organizations and have volunteered in many roles to help better the community I proudly call home. I have served as a member of the Coolidge ISD school board for the past 39 years, and as president of the board for seven of those years. I have also served as president of the Texas Young Farmers in 2000 and as an active member. I also serve as a Coolidge Cemetery Association board member. I am an active supporter of the Coolidge FFA. I passionately believe the young people are an important part of our community and the future success of our community depends on them. I am the co-owner of Double J Feed in Coolidge. My late father Bobby, late brother Reagan, and I started the business in 1994 and, with the help of my family, we have been successfully taking care of the needs of our locals for the past 23 years. I am currently employed by Dashiell Corporation based in Houston, Texas. My role at Dashiell is Construction Manager, assisting in building electrical substations and electrical infrastructures throughout the United States. In the past nine years of my employment with Dashiell, I have managed projects, and power line construction. My experience in leading these projects is another reason why I feel I am a good candidate for the job. In our pastime, my wife and I own and operate a cow and calf operation in both Limestone and Navarro counties running Angus cross cattle. Our children participate in raising show animals including cattle, goats, and rabbits and compete in various livestock shows across Texas. I hope you will consider me the opportunity to become your Limestone County Commissioner for Precinct 2. You have my word that my door will always be open, and I will always strive to listen and keep our residents of Limestone County on my foremost thought when making decisions for our county. If I am elected, I look forward to leading with integrity and compassion. Open-mindedness and mindful consideration with spending tax payers’ dollars will be a major part for my job as your commissioner. Your vote and support will be greatly appreciated.
